Moosie was rescued by Just 4 Paws Cat rescue in 2007 at 6 months old. The family moved away and left her behind to fend for herself on the haste streets of Patchogue NY. Thankfully, one of my coworkers had brought her into our shop and we brought her into our home.  She lived out 14 beautiful years as an emotional support animal and a huge part of our family.  She was the one who started it all!  I couldn’t stop thinking about those poor cats living alone in freezing weather, or worse.  I started working to help more cats shortly thereafter and that was the beginning of it all!
